About Us

This site was put together for the love of our three year old son Robert (photo right).  Robert was a healthy baby, he was born weighing 9lb 7oz. There was no complications with the birth and Jen and I were happy to start raising our third child. Everything seemed to be going fine, all well care visits were normal. At the age of 15 months he starting talking saying such things as dada, mama, nana and even once and a while papa. But as soon as Robert turned 16 months old all things came to a screeching halt. He starting making strange sounds not responding to us calling him and the few words that he had been saying were not coming out anymore.  Jen and I thought he might have a hearing problem because he did have a couple of ear infections. We had him checked by two specialists and they said his hearing was normal. We went one step further and had the county come in to see if he needed speech therapy.

This is when the bomb shell was dropped in our laps. Jen and I found out that our healthy little boy was AUTISTIC.  I had never heard of autism before except in the movie RAINMAN. I had no clue what it was if there was a cure, Nothing. We found out that there is no cure but that the county had a program of early intervention and that would help with Robert's road to a somewhat normal life. Well its been over a year and a half with therapists coming 5 days a week and Jen and I juggling schedules to make it happen for Robert. We are seeing a major difference in him in that time, and he is starting to come out of his own world and back into ours.

If it wasn't for the hard work of Ralph Barone (Team Leader), Rosaria (aba therapist) Christina (speech therapist) and Kelly (occupational therapist) and their team work who knows where we would be with Robert now.  Jen and I would like to say from the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU to all of you.

The items that are on our website are all about Autism. We want to get the word out about AUTISM AWARENESS and raise money so that one day we can find a cure. A portion of all sales are distributed to autism chapters and charities all over.  For all the parents out there that have children with autism just remember that we are:
THE VOICE OF AUTISM!!

Thank you and God Bless,
Bob Boe
Father of Robert
